The Ascend Collection membership program from Choice Hotels International has added to its roster two meetings hotels in the coastal communities of Naples, Fla. and Westport, Conn.The properties are GreenLinks Golf Villas at Lely Resort, its first condominium hotel, and the Westport Inn, the collection's inaugural property in Connecticut.
Set on two championship golf courses, GreenLinks is minutes from downtown Naples and award-winning beaches on the Gulf of Mexico; the Westport Inn is a newly renovated boutique hotel near the Long Island Sound, an hour from Manhattan. This month, the 117-room Westport Inn celebrated its grand opening, marking the completion of a $3.5 million dollar renovation, featuring 6,000 square feet of meeting and banquet space.
Minutes from the airport and downtown Naples, GreenLinks is close to spas, boutiques, restaurants and white-sand beaches. The 200-room resort is surrounded by two championship golf courses and features 2,300 square feet of function space.
