Bacara Resort & Spa, in Santa Barbara, Calif., has named Kathleen Cochran as general manager. Cochran previously worked for the Plaza Hotel, the Hotel del Coronodad and spent 24 years with Loews Hotels, most recently as general manager of the Loews Coronado Bay Resort.
She received a California State Parks “Hero Award” for her partnership development which raised $750,000 for preservation, enhancement, education, and ecological/historic interpretation of the Silver Strand State Beach. Cochran served on the board of the San Diego Convention & Visitors Bureau and was president of the Coronado Convention & Visitors Bureau.
