Paul W. Whetsell was appointed president and chief executive officer of Loew’s Hotels. He will relace Jack Adler, who is retiring from the company.
Whetsell brings more than 35 years experience in the hospitality industry to his new position. Most recently he served on the board of directors of Virgin Hotels. In 1987 he founded the original CapStar Hotel Company, which grew to over 110 hotels and $3 billion in assets.
