The Ritz-Carlton New York, Battery Park has completed a $1 million renovation of its entire second floor meeting space. All carpeting, wall coverings, drapery treatments, and furnishings in The Ritz-Carlton Ballroom, the Manhattan Ballroom and pre-function meeting spaces were custom-designed in rich hues of Chocolate, Gray, and Aubergine to harmonize with the hotel’s existing wood paneling and overall contemporary style.
The hotel’s dramatic indoor/outdoor Rise space—offering sweeping views of New York Harbor and the Statue of Liberty from the building’s 14th floor—as well as the Club Lounge were also renovated in 2011, while all guest rooms and suites were renovated in 2009. All designs were also facilitated by Frank Nicholson Incorporated.
The property showcases 298 guest rooms, including 39 suites and one Ritz-Carlton Suite; the Award-winning 2 West restaurant; 12,000 square feet of newly renovated meeting space, including two ballrooms; the recently renovated 24 hour Fitness Center with state-of-the-art equipment and panoramic views; and Wi-Fi access in all public space and guest rooms.
