The Beverly Wilshire, a Four Seasons Hotel is located at one of the most luxurious intersections in Beverly Hills, within easy striking distance of Rodeo Drive shopping. Unequivocally one of the best hotels in the city, this stately building has been a landmark in Beverly Hills since 1928. Approximately $35 million has
gone into renovations at this Four Seasons-managed property, primarily into reconstructing the rooms and suites in the Beverly Wing, which was added to the hotel in 1971, and refurbishing the accommodations in the original Wilshire Wing. Their style is now contemporary, with pretty colors such as amber, greens and blues.
The 395 guestrooms and suites feature gigantic marble bathrooms with deep-soaking tubs, silky bed linens, period furniture and double-glazed windows to obviate any street noise. A new Spa and Pool Bar boasts cabanas for lazing.
Wolfgang Puck has conspired with architect Richard Meier to transform the former Dining Room into CUT, a contemporary steakhouse and adjoining sexy lounge. The latter, dubbed Sidebar, is usually so crowded after work (it attracts agents and clients from the William Morris Agency next door), it's hard to find a seat. In addition, The Blvd serves excellent American cuisine by chef Brian Moyers in a modern, Art Deco-influenced setting.
Adjoining the Fitness Center, the new 8,000-square-foot spa is the most comprehensive for a hotel in Beverly Hills, offering pampering packages such as the Day of Rejuvenation and the Jet Lag Recovery Treatment and amenities like Ice Fountains and Aromatherapy Crystal Steam Rooms.
