Bill Bohde was named senior vice president, sales and marketing at the Detroit Metro CVB. He brings 39 years of sales and hospitality industry experience to the DMCVB.
Bohde previously served as vice president, convention sales for seven years at the Kansas City Convention & Visitors Association, where he negotiated a deal bringing the 2012 Major League Baseball All Star game to the city. He has also served as vice president, convention and tradeshow sales for the St. Louis Convention & Visitors Commission and worked with Marriott Hotels for more than 20 years.
