Miramonte Resort & Spa has announced details of a $2 million dollar renovation bringing a fresh, updated and relaxing appeal to all of the resort’s guestrooms. Inspired from the surrounding desert landscape and the rich terra cotta elements throughout the resort’s stunning Mediterranean architecture, the rooms will feature an earth toned motif, with rich chocolate and warm honey accents.
The remodel, which will begin this summer, spotlights Miramonte’s dedication to offering an unrivaled experience. Highlights of the décor include a deep chocolate carpet, with floating damask patterns in soothing honey, Mahogany toned case goods, subtle cream toned wall coverings, and an accent of caramel gracing the headboard wall for a touch of drama.
New elegant window treatments feature an abstract floral design pattern complete with broadly striped panels in amber and fawn hues. Giving the room a hint of fun is evident with the vibrant pops of sunset orange adorning the bed bench, accent pillows on cozy amber sofas, and posh lounge chairs.
The newly renovated rooms designed by the award-winning Intra-Spec Design Group out of Marina del Rey, Calif., open just in time this Fall for the 2012 to 2013 season of the Palm Springs area, frequented during the winter months for near perfect weather with average daily temperatures in the 70’s.
The resort is located in prestigious Indian Wells, internationally known for the BNP Paribas Open ATP World Tour and WTA Tour tennis tournament, taking place here annually. Additional details about the resort can be viewed at www.miramonteresort.com.
