Three Takeaways |
1. Money can be saved during receptions by serving champagne only at the door as guests enter, shortening the length of a reception, or by limiting alcoholic beverages to only beer and wine but no hard alcohol.
2. Affordable buffet options that are usually popular include a ‘make your own sandwich buffet’ with soup and salad bar; Pizza and salad bar; Mexican buffet; or a Baked potato bar with hearty soup or chili (preferred by men).
3. Take the time to know the demographics of your group, and work closely with a property’s catering manager to find the right fit for your group’s budget and tastes.
