Corporate social responsibility (CSR) has truly taken off all over the country, but it’s hard to picture a prominent hotel property doing it any better than the Omni Fort Worth, which has even created a website around its ongoing efforts in the community.
“Being a part of the community is very important to Omni, myself and the entire staff,” says Larry Auth, area director of sales and marketing for the hotel. “We’re engaged in numerous community projects, including our latest endeavor with a local high school, South Hills High, where we provide student opportunities, including onsite visits, job shadows, mentoring and college scholarships.”
That latest endeavor is truly just the tip of the iceberg however. Other possible CSR group fun ranges from Literacy Rocks (an interactive learning program) and Ultimate Bikes for Tykes to Park Pick Ups and Shop ‘til You Drop outings (for a good cause).
“When we opened in 2009, we literally said we wanted to serve as the living room of Fort Worth,” Auth says. “This meant not only being hospitable for all those who came to our beloved city, but for the locals as well.”
The property showcases 614 guest rooms and suites, plus approximately 68,000 square feet of meetings space and numerous high-quality amenities.
