Memphis

  • Beale Street Landing (901.312.9190; www.memphisriverfront.com) is scheduled for completion this summer. This modern docking facility will connect Tom Lee Park to the Historic Cobblestone Landing, accommodate public gatherings and performances, create an overlook for riverfront activities such as walking, jogging, cycling and casual river watching, and provide a much-needed terminus for Beale Street. The landing will feature a casual restaurant, full bar and facilities for private events.

Nashville

  • Music City Center (615.880.1450; www.nashvillemusiccitycenter.com) is scheduled to open in May 2013 on a 16-acre site in the heart of downtown Nashville. The 1.2 million-square-foot LEED-certified building will feature a 350,000-square-foot exhibit hall and a 57,000-square-foot grand ballroom. The new center, which will more than double the current convention center’s available downtown exhibit and meeting space, will offer views of the Nashville skyline and is located just steps from the Ryman Auditorium and the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
     
  • The Omni Nashville Hotel (615.782.5300; www.omnihotels.com), a 21-story high-rise, will serve as the headquarters hotel to the Music City Center. It is set to open shortly after the facility in 2013, and will include 800 guest rooms and more than 80,000 square feet of event and meeting space. The hotel will also integrate with the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum (615.416.2001; www.countrymusichalloffame.org) through a 200,000-square-foot, multilevel museum expansion that will include an 800-seat theater and an additional 10,000 square feet of event and meeting space.

Hardin County

  • The Lodge at Grand Harbor Marina (662.667.5551; www.gograndharbor.com), which accommodates up to 40 people for corporate gatherings, was recently renovated.
