  • The former Eastland Park Hotel will undergo a $40 million renovation and conversion to become the Westin Portland Harborview. The hotel is expected to take the Westin flag in spring 2013.   • Embassy Suites Washington D.C. Convention Center completed a $7.5 million renovation of its public areas and guest rooms, adding work space and electrical outlets. The 384-room hotel is located blocks from the Walter E. Washington Convention Center and six miles from Ronald Reagan National Airport. The largest meeting room on the property is 5,568 square feet.   • Capitol Hill Hotel, the former Capitol Hill Suites, completed the first phase of a $3.7 million renovation. The lobby was updated and meeting and event spaces were expanded. A new website was launched to promote the rebranding and the final phase will include a remodel of all 152 guest suites, expected to be completed in early 2013. The hotel offers catering options and 2,000 square feet of flexible event space that can accommodate up to 40 guests, including a boardroom, parlor, library and salon.
