Otto Svensson was named general manager of the Melia Hotel Atlanta. German-born Svensson has more than 40 years of hotel experience and previously worked with Ritz-Carlton for almost 20 years.
He served as vice president/area general manager at the Ritz-Carlton Buckhead and was the brand’s vice president of food and beverage for ten years.
Most recently, Svensson spent six years with West Paces Hotel Group where he was selected as chairman and CEO of Capella Hotels and Resorts.
