Founded in 1992, Dallas-based AmeriPlan is the nation’s premier Discount Medical Plan Organization (DMPO). Celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, the company took its annual four-day Independent Business Owners Conference to Frisco, basing itself at the Embassy Suites Hotel and Convention Center.
Rosie Royals, the planner who organized the festivities, ceremonies and workshops, was “amazed” by the support from the Frisco CVB.
“From extending their complimentary shuttle service to AmeriPlan’s headquarters to providing trained, qualified staff support for four days, the CVB went above and beyond the whole way,” Royals says. “They even arranged for a mayoral welcome, which included a proclamation of AmeriPlan Day in the city. I cannot praise them enough.”
