The Wyndham Virginia Crossings Hotel & Conference Center in Glen Allen, Virginia, has completed an improvement project that committed over $3 million to providing state-of-the-art technology in its dedicated conference center. The renovation includes lobbies, restaurants, meeting and function space, and adding new gardens, reception areas and recreational facilities.
The recent renovation added several small meeting rooms that bring the total meeting square footage to 26,000.
Plans are now underway for renovation of all 183 guestrooms and suites, to be completed in 2013.
Its purpose-built, IACC-approved conference facilities are 21st century, designed "to produce maximum results," according to General Manager Bob Nelson, who was recently honored with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts General Manager of the Year Award for 2011.
The property is set on 20 landscaped acres that include two restaurants, a fitness center, outdoor pool and The Traditions Golf Club. Located at the interchange of Interstates 95 and 295, the hotel is 12 miles north of the City of Richmond, 20 miles north of Richmond International Airport, and 90 miles south of Washington, D.C.
