  • Upcoming exhibitions at the Art Institute of Chicago include They Seek a City: Chicago and the Art of Migration, 1910-1950, which will highlight foreign and Southern-born artists and examine the history of immigration and its effects on the city's growth. Composed of 80 works drawn from the Art Institute's permanent collection, the exhibit will run until June 2013. Opening in February, Chicago and Picasso is the first major exhibition of its kind at the Art Institute in over 30 years. More than 250 of Picasso's paintings, sculpture, prints and drawings comprise the collection, which will run until May 12.
