Las Vegas
- McCarran International Airport (702.261.5211; www.mccarran.com) opened the $2.4 billion international Air Terminal 3 in June.
- Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas (702.632.5000; www.fourseasons.com/lasvegas) is slated to complete a guest room renovation, including the addition of two spacious hospitality suites, by year’s end.
- Bellagio (702.693.7111; www.bellagio.com) completed a $70 million remodel of all 2,568 guest rooms in its main tower at the end of last year, and the Spa Tower remodel encompassing 819 guest rooms and 109 suites is scheduled for completion by year’s end.
- Palms Casino Resort (702.942.6804; www.palms.com) is transforming its Palm Tower guest rooms as part of the first phase of a $50 million renovation that began over the summer.
- MGM Grand Hotel & Casino (702.891.7777; www.mgmgrand.com) recently completed a $160 million room and suite remodel in the hotel’s main tower.
- Octavius Tower, the sixth hotel tower at Caesars Palace (702.731.7110; www.caesarspalace.com), recently opened with 668 guest rooms.
- Caesars Entertainment revealed plans to rename the company’s center-Strip resort, currently known as Imperial Palace, the Quad Resort & Casino (www.caesars.com/thequadlv). The official conversion will be completed by year’s end with renovation plans scheduled for completion by late 2013.
- Circus Circus (702.734.0410; www.circuscircus.com) recently renovated more than 1,900 guest rooms in the Casino and Skyrise towers.
Laughlin
- Edgewater Hotel Casino (702.298.2453; www.edgewater-casino.com) is scheduled to complete a renovation of its Sedona Tower guest rooms, halls and elevator lobbies by year’s end.
- This past summer, the Riverside Resort Hotel & Casino (702.298.2535; www.riversideresort.com) completed a renovation, including updates to its hotel front desk and lobby.
Mesquite
- The Holiday Inn Express and Suites Mesquite (702.346.2200; www.hiexpress.com), formerly the Falcon Ridge Hotel, recently opened after a remodel and renovation project. The property offers 4,000 square feet of meeting space.
Reno
- Grand Sierra Resort and Casino (800.501.2651; www.grandsierraresort.com) is undergoing a $25 million renovation, including updates to lobby and guest rooms, that’s scheduled for completion by mid-2013.
Lake Tahoe
- In June, the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe (775.832.1234; www.laketahoe.hyatt.com), located in Incline Village, completed a $20 million renovation, including guest accommodation updates and a new look for the Spa Terrace Conference Center.
Elko
- TownePlace Suites Elko by Marriott (775.738.9900; www.marriott.com) opened in June with 84 suites and a meeting room.
