Elegant Upgrades in Beverly Hills

Dorchester Collection's Beverly Hills Hotel has recently debuted their newly renovated lobby by Tihany Design (pictured). The lobby makeover is part of a sweeping renovation that is taking places in phases from this year until 2014. The next phases include a renovation of the Polo Lounge, Pool, and then guest room and suite upgrades.

The restoration is in honor of the Pink Palace’s centennial this year, with the lobby the very first phase to debut. Refreshed with new marble floors and a new coat of soft white paint, the highlights of the new lobby design include: a crystal staircase chandelier (priced at $90K) custom designed by Tihany Design; new pieces of art counseled by Keyes Art Consulting; White Gold Leaf installation lining the lobby’s domes, produced by Giusto Manetti in Florence, Italy; and an enhanced reception area with modern front desks and mural behind them with an iconic logo and map of the hotel’s location.
