George Aguel was named president and CEO of Visit Orlando.
He has more than 35 years of sales and marketing experience, most recently serving as senior vice president of corporate global alliances and operating participants with the Walt Disney Co.
Aguel is a past president of Meeting Professionals International and has lived in Orlando for more than 20 years.
