Hyatt Palm Springs is offering a new initiative aiming to make meetings easier and more affordable for planners.
With the Hyatt Palm Springs “Write Your Own Contract” initiative, all meeting planners have to do is meet a minimum price ($79 per suite) and minimum number of nights (one night for 25 suites or two nights for 20 suites each) for groups meeting Sunday through Thursday nights, June through December. Then, they give Hyatt Palm Springs their budget for F&B, activities and entertainment and the hotel does the rest – providing the most bang for their buck for each item.
The Hyatt Palm Springs’ conference venues offer 10,000 square feet of event space, including two boardrooms, five meeting rooms and 10,000 square feet of atrium space that can be creatively divided into a number of more intimate gathering spots with gauzy tangerine 50-ft. curtains, or can be opened to host groups up to 900. There’s more – such as an outdoor terrace with stunning views of the San Jacinto Mountains.
Minimum requirements:
• Number of nights: one night for 25 suites or two nights for 20 suites each
• Dates: any Sunday through Thursday night from June 1 to December 20, 2013
• Price per suite per night: $79
