Pelican Takes the Prize

The Resort at Pelican Hill and The Spa at Pelican Hill have both achieved one of the highest global hospitality ratings by earning Five Stars in the 55th annual ratings by Forbes Travel Guide, formerly Mobil Travel Guide. Located along the coast of Newport Beach, Pelican Hill is the first and only Five-Star property in Newport Beach, among just 76 worldwide to earn the top Forbes Five Star Award this year.

The Spa at Pelican Hill earned its fourth consecutive Five Star Award this year and maintains its distinction as the only Five-Star spa in Newport Beach, as well as one of just 35 worldwide to earn the top Forbes Travel Guide rating this year.

Since opening in late 2008, The Resort at Pelican Hill has earned numerous accolades, including America’s Top Resort and California’s Top Resort Spa in Condé Nast Traveler magazine’s annual Readers’ Choice Awards.

Forbes Travel Guide, formerly Mobil Travel Guide and originator of the prestigious Five Star ratings and certifications, has provided the travel industry’s most comprehensive ratings and reviews of hotels, restaurants and spas since 1958.

Set on 504 acres by the Pacific Ocean in Newport Beach, The Resort at Pelican Hill features: 128 two-, three- and four-bedroom villas with coastal views; 204 luxuriously appointed bungalow guest rooms and suites with private terraces; a Five-Star spa; top restaurants, including Andrea serving authentic Northern Italian cuisine; an iconic “Coliseum Pool,” one of the largest circular pools anywhere with tiered decks and luxurious cabanas; and Pelican Hill Golf Club with 36 holes by Tom Fazio, nearly all with ocean panoramas.
