San Francisco's Palace Hotel welcomed Christophe Thomas as general manager.
He comes to San Francisco from the W Union Square in New York.
Thomas began his career in hospitality in 1990 and has worked in the Rooms Division in hotels around the world including the Hilton Paris, and in corporate positoins in Ecuador, Brazil and Morocco.
He joined Starwood in September 2008.
