DESTIN, Fla.
Closely following a renovation of meeting space, accommodations and Seagar’s Prime Steaks and Seafood restaurant, the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa has announced a new multi-million dollar capital improvement project.
Scheduled to begin October 1, the five-month project will include a number of enhancements, such as complete redesign and refurnishing of all Spa Tower rooms, upgrade of the award-winning, 11,000-square-foot Serenity by the sea Spa, and a drastically enhanced entrance and lobby, providing guests a breathtaking view of Florida’s Emerald Coast immediately upon arrival. The project will begin with guest rooms in the resort’s 200-room Spa Tower.
The largest full-service beachfront resort on Northwest Florida’s Gulf Coast, the 598-room Hilton Sandestin Beach offers more than 32,000 square feet of flexible indoor meeting space, now featuring a fresh new design inspired by the resort’s beachfront setting – from pre-function space to breakouts and ballrooms. Completed in February, the recent $5.5 million renovation incorporated top technology with new Smart TV and teleconferencing capabilities in the boardroom along with touch-screen lighting in the ballrooms.
The project also included elegantly modern décor upgrades and an enhanced menu at the award-winning Seagar’s Prime Steaks and Seafood, Destin’s only AAA Four Diamond Award-rated restaurant. Updates were also made to the common space of the 400-room Emerald Tower, which houses the deluxe junior suites featuring bunk beds and a separate media center for kids.
