The redevelopment of the SLS Las Vegas property began last month and Michael Toney was recently named executive director of hotel sales.
The property is expected to open in Fall 2014, with 1,600 guest rooms and 35,000 square feet of meeting and convention space.
Toney most recently served as corporate vice president of hotel sales at Station Casinos, where he led a sales force of 65 people.
He also previously worked as vice president of hotel sales for Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas and with Mandalay Bay in tradeshow sales.
