Following is a Q&A with Dave Gerdes, vice president of sales and marketing for the Pacific Hospitality Group, which manages the Collection.

Q. What will make the new Meritage Collection so appealing to meeting planners?

A. We are able to provide a one-stop shop and an easy transition of logistics from one property to another. All members of our sales team are educated about all four properties and can sell any of the four at any time. Any meeting details and special requirements can easily be conveyed to any of the four properties, ensuring a seamless transition. Meeting planners can also ensure that the level of service their clients receive will be impeccable and consistent among each property.

Q. What are the unique benefits meeting planners will enjoy at the Meritage Collection that they cannot find elsewhere?
