Fort Lauderdale's Riverside Hotel Meets History

Fort Lauderdale’s Riverside Hotel launched a new breakout session for groups that plays off the property’s historic location.

“Meet History” involves a photo scavenger hunt along the famous Las Olas Boulevard. Groups of 20 or more people can divide into teams and compete to find items and places such as paw prints immortalized in hotel tiles, an elevator the size of a phone booth and other unique local landmarks.

The 219-room Riverside Hotel offers 11,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, including the newly renovated 1,650-square-foot Champ Carr space, and outdoor catering venues as large as 20,600 square feet.

The hotel is also offering a new meeting package valid through September, where groups can receive discounted room rates, waived rental fees and a one-hour beer and wine reception based upon the number of peak night rooms.
