Gettysburg Hotel Preps for 150th Anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg

Pennsylvania’s Gettysburg Hotel completed a multimillion-dollar renovation in preparation for the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg. Built in 1797, the Lincoln Square hotel is a hub of activity as the region gears up to commemorate the sesquicentennial of the three-day Civil War battle that took place in July 1863.

The renovation updated all 119 guest rooms, expanded the lobby, revitalized meeting spaces and increased the group capacity of the One Lincoln restaurant.

The hotel offers 9,000 square feet of function space, with rooms named after historic figures such as Thaddeus Stevens and Dwight D. Eisenhower.

The Gettysburg Foundation is organizing commemorative events throughout the summer.
