Omni Providence, Four Seasons New York Downtown, and Hyatt Boston Harbor enchance meeting options

Maine
The 138-room Hilton Garden Inn Auburn Riverwatch completed a renovation of its lobby facilities and 4,500-square-foot conference center, offering views of the Androscoggin River.

Massachusetts
The former Hyatt Harborside is now the Hyatt Boston Harbor following a name change of the 270-room hotel, which recently renovated and expanded its meeting space offerings to total more than 22,000 square feet of space.

The Merrimack Valley’s 214-room Radisson Hotel and Suites Chelmsford-Lowell completed a renovation. Thirty minutes from downtown Boston, the hotel offers 20,000 square feet of meeting space, including banquet space and seating for up to 350 people.

New York
Silverstein Properties is planning a new-build skyscraper in Tribeca that will include a 185-room Four Seasons Hotel New York, Downtown with ballrooms and meeting facilities, as well as private residences. Opening of the 82-story tower is set for 2016.

Courtyard by Marriott’s New York Manhattan/Times Square West is now open on West 37th Street. The hotel offers 224 guest rooms and meeting space for up to 40 people.

Starwood Hotels & Resorts has recently invested more than $400 million to renovate its 21 New York City properties, which span all nine of the Starwood brands. The most recently updated properties include the Sheraton New York Times Squares, W New York–Union Square and The Westin New York Grand Central Station.

Pennsylvania
The SMG-managed Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia unveiled four restored mosaic murals on display in its Broad Street Atrium, which was added during the center’s $787 million expansion in 2011. The murals were originally created by Italian artist Bogdan Grom in 1964 and depict iconic Philadelphia sites. They previously hung in the elevators of the Hotel Palomar and underwent extensive restoration before being moved to the convention center. The center offers more than 70 meeting rooms and a 6,000-person ballroom.

Rhode Island
A former Westin property was acquired and rebranded as the Omni Providence Hotel. The 564-room hotel with almost 23,000 square feet of meeting space will undergo renovations later this year. The Omni is connected via skybridge to the Rhode Island Convention Center.
