Cascadia Cuisine Launches Regional Marketing Plan

The World Food Travel Association recently kicked off its Cascadian Cuisine initiative, a unique new program designed to develop regional cuisines as a tourism driver and economic development tool, with an emphasis on sustainability, job creation and community preservation.

The Cascadia region includes Northern California, Washington, Oregon and parts of British Columbia, Idaho and Montana.

The program hopes to collaborate with local tourism offices, form an advisory board of progressive industry leaders and develop programming and promotional materials based around local food and restaurants.
