STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo.
Officials at the Sheraton Steamboat Resort & Villas are proud to announce the hotel will be undertaking an $8.2 million room renovation project, resulting in the completion of 56 new, luxury Mountain Suites in time for the 2013-2014 ski season.
The addition of the studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom Mountain Suites will bring the Sheraton Steamboat Resort's total room count to 285. The rooms, which were originally intended to be Starwood Vacation Ownership units, are now being completed as suites, offering mountain or valley views. The Mountain Suites feature granite countertops, either mini or full kitchens, washer and dryer, five-piece bathrooms, flat-screen TVs, Sheraton Sweet Sleeper II Beds, and more.
Many of the suites are designed as "lock-offs" offering guests the option to book lodging similar to a high-end, three-bedroom condominium, but with all of the services and amenities of a hotel.
The resort features 28,000 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor meeting space themed around the "Seasons of Colorado." With 17 meeting rooms, including the 7,000-square-foot Grand Ballroom, the property can accommodate groups of up to 1,000 people.
