GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.
The Amway Grand Plaza Hotel in Grand Rapids, Mich., has announced a renovation of 285 guest rooms in the property’s Glass Tower wing.
The room revamp is slated to start in November 2013 and conclude by October 2014.
The property boasts 682 guest rooms and more than 47,000 square feet of meeting space. It is uniquely divided between the Pantlind section, which opened in 1913 and showcases a Gilded Age setting and ambience, and the more-modern Glass Tower, which opened in 1981. It is also home to several dining options that include a Ruth’s Chris Steak House.
