SAN DIEGO, Calif.
San Diego Marriott Mission Valley completed a $9 million renovation to its hotel lobby, all 350 guest rooms, six new Parlor Suites, Concierge Lounge and outdoor spaces.
General Manager Erik Hilgert announced the buildings new additions were tailored from customer comments in order to help enhance each visitor's experience and also to make the property more green-friendly and comfortable to guests.
The primary focus of the renovation was in the building’s guest rooms which feature new furnishings, interior doors, bedding, décor, lighting, lock systems, and improved wireless Internet access. The hotel also worked to modernize its outdoor areas by providing more seating and redesigning the gardens to incorporate new plants which have reduced the hotel’s external water usage by as much as 80%.
San Diego Marriott Mission Valley features 28,000 square feet of meeting space and 19 meeting rooms.
