Earlier this summer, Omni Hotels & Resorts purchased The Homestead resort in Hot Springs, Va. The property took the Omni flag in July, but the iconic 250-year-old resort retained its name despite the new ownership.
The 438-room Homestead has 72,000 square feet of meeting space and recently launched a $26 million renovation project.
Omni also acquired four other resort properties from KSL Capital Partners in the deal, including The Grove Park Inn in Asheville, N.C.; Barton Creek Resort & Spa in Austin, Texas; La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, Calif.; and Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa in Rancho Mirage, Calif, representing more than 2,000 guest rooms and 300,000 square feet of meeting space added to Omni’s portfolio.
