While having a strong social media presence is important, if your association event doesn’t have an event app of its own, you are behind the times. Here are just a few of the companies that can create a customized app for your next annual meeting, often with association-specific features.
Quickmobile
The Vancouver, British Columbia-based Quickmobile categorizes its event apps into three tiers: Enterprise (larger events); Small & Medium Business; and Association. Its association event apps are designed to extend the reach of each group and provide networking options for members, up-to-date scheduling and interactive tools, including a Q&A and surveys. The company also created an app called TechSpec in partnership with Corbin Ball and James Spellos to help planners explore a hotel’s or venue’s technological capabilities for an event.
