Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. has opened the newest addition to its Aloft brand, the Aloft Miami-Brickell, located in the heart of downtown Miami.
Owned and managed by a joint venture between Sunview Companies and HES Group, Aloft Miami-Brickell provides travelers with 160 loft-like rooms, technological amenities and a social atmosphere. It is the second Aloft hotel to open in the Miami metropolitan area following the opening of Aloft Miami Doral in March.
The new hotel is located within Mary Brickell Village on the southern end of downtown Miami and offers views of Miami's skyline and direct access to the financial district. The 14 story hotel is within walking distance of the village's upscale shops and restaurants, and close to local attractions including Miami Beach, South Beach, Coconut Grove, American Airlines Arena, the Port of Miami and Miami Marlins Ballpark.
Guests are 20 minutes from Miami International Airport (MIA) in a location convenient to both the Metrorail and I-95. Aloft Miami-Brickell contains nearly 500 square feet of flexible meeting space which can be used for both business meetings and social gatherings.
