LOS ANGELES
InterContinental Los Angeles has introduced a newly redesigned 3,300-square-foot Royal Suite. As the hotel’s top accommodation with two bedrooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms, the Royal Suite offers a kitchenette with full size refrigerator, Lavazza espresso machine, wine cooler and fully stocked wet bar, as well as a library with 55-inch flat screen TV and LED fireplace.
The spacious living area boasts a 60-inch flat screen TV and an open floor plan, leading into an elegant dining room with an eight-foot LED fireplace, creating the ideal backdrop to take in Los Angeles’ dramatic sunset just over the Pacific Ocean and Malibu Mountains – all within view of the dining table and open-air balcony just outside the sliding glass doors.
Colorful LED lighting lines the living and dining rooms with vibrant, customizable shades from royal blue and sea green to bright fuchsia and romantic red. Whether you’re in the mood for uplifting, bright colors or want to relax with more subdued and calming tones, the Royal Suite can be personalized to suit any preference. The master bathroom features two rainfall showers and a soaking tub big enough for two with large sliding windows offering views of the beautiful Hollywood Hills nearby and iconic Hollywood Sign.
The second bedroom includes an attached office space that can also double as another bedroom. Balconies wrap around the entire suite, offering city and coastline views.
The property also revamped its Grand Salon Ballroom with customized LED lighting and refurbished its adjoining Glass Lounger foyer.
The hotel features 361 elegant guestrooms, including 148 suites, all of which offer panoramic views of the Hollywood Hills, downtown Los Angeles and the Pacific Ocean coastline; it also offers more than 16,000 square feet of event space for planners to consider.
