Harrisburg

The Holiday Inn Harrisburg-Hershey completed a property-wide renovation in January. The project updated the hotel’s 20,000 square feet of meeting and banquet space, guest rooms, business center and interior and exterior spaces.

Hershey

In April The Hotel Hershey unveiled The Circular, the AAA Four Diamond hotel’s signature restaurant. The new venue is an update of the Circular Dining Room, the hotel’s centerpiece restaurant since it opened in 1933. The Hotel Hershey announced further plans that include a grass putting course, a new fitness center and a renovated indoor pool complex, all of which are scheduled for completion in May 2014.

The Hershey Grill at Hershey Lodge reopened in March following a two-and-a-half-month renovation. The restaurant expanded its hours to include breakfast, and it now features an open kitchen, among other design changes.

The 108-room Fairfield Inn & Suites Hershey Chocolate Avenue opened in Hershey this spring. The new property features an indoor pool, a fitness facility and complimentary wireless high-speed Internet access.

Lancaster County

The historic Montgomery House, contained within the lobby of the Lancaster County Convention Center in downtown Lancaster, is being converted into an intimate, high-end meeting space. Scheduled for completion later this year, each of the three levels of the house will welcome approximately 50 people. Integrated with the 297-room Lancaster Marriott Hotel. The center offers a total of 90,000 square feet of meeting and exhibit space.

The 65-acre Spooky Nook Sports Complex opened in June. The complex offers 600,000 square feet of indoor athletic courts, several outdoor sports fields, retail space and a restaurant. Located west of downtown Lancaster, the complex also features team-building activities and 130,000 square feet of exhibit space.
