BERLIN, Germany
The new 412-room InterCityHotel Berlin Hauptbahnhof has opened opposite the city's main railway station.
Located at the heart of the metropolis and within the immediate vicinity of the Government District and the Brandenburg Gate, the new InterCityHotel aims to draw business travelers and tourists alike, with extensive meeting space.
A conference facility is in place featuring a Business Corner and 10 conference rooms with natural daylight and flexible combinations. All event rooms are fitted with ample technology, and free Wi-Fi is offered throughout the hotel. A restaurant, a bistro/lounge and a bar are also on-site. Another perk is the InterCityHotel "Free City Ticket" plan, which enables guests to use Berlin's public transport system free of charge.
The project is to be certified in accordance with the standards of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB Gold Standard). The eight-story building has an underground car park with 100 spaces.
