A 210-room Marriott is slated to open on the Rose Kennedy Greenway in 2014.
A 177-room Hilton Garden Inn is scheduled to open in 2014 in East Boston near Logan International Airport.
The former John Hancock Hotel & Conference Center was purchased by Boston-based Saunders Hotel Group, which intends to transform the property into an upscale boutique hotel. The hotel will feature 220 guest rooms, 142 resident units, meeting space and several restaurants.
The six-story, 120-room Residence Inn Boston Downtown/Seaport recently debuted in the South Boston Waterfront district. The property has a 455-square-foot boardroom accommodating up to 25 attendees.
