Dennis Johnston was appointed vice president of sales at the Oklahoma CVB, as part of a change in the CVB's leadership model in anticipation of future growth.
Johnston comes to Oklahoma City from Lexington, Ky., where he was the vice president sales with the Lexington CVB.
He also has more than 20 years of management exeprience with Marriott properties in Ohio, Oregon, Florida and Indiana.
He will oversee Oklahoma City's convention sales and services department and lead development of strategies centering around the new downtown convention center.
