BELL GARDENS, Calif.
R.D. Olson Construction has started building its latest luxury hotel project, The Bicycle Casino Hotel in Bell Gardens, Calif., in southern Los Angeles County. Located at the corner of Bicycle Casino Drive and Eastern Ave., the property is an addition to the current Bicycle Casino - set in the heart of Bell Gardens.
The seven-story, 117,907-square-foot hotel will feature a bakery/cafe, restaurant, penthouse nightclub, roof-top open air gaming area, health spa, fitness center and second floor, and elevated swimming pool with cabanas. When complete, the casino and hotel will have more than 15,000 square feet of event, meeting and function space, and reportedly be home to 100 guest rooms.
During construction the hotel project will generate approximately 300 temporary jobs - and upon its expected Spring 2015 completion - the hotel will provide 250 new permanent jobs in a community where unemployment is at 16.3%.
