In response to society’s tech addiction and meeting groups’ need for constant connectivity, MGM Resorts International rolled out the industry’s largest Wi-Fi network to Las Vegas properties, including Monte Carlo, New York-New York, Luxor and Excalibur. The update enhanced Internet coverage in public spaces such as pools, casinos, lobbies and restaurants. The Bellagio, MGM Grand and Mandalay Bay were the first properties to join the high-speed network in 2012.
The Wi-Fi services were designed to meet the needs of demanding power-users, and can be customized for speeds of up to 10 Mbps for convention attendees.
