FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.
The 23-acre, four-diamond Bonaventure Resort & Spa renovated its 60,000 square feet of conference space. The 500-room property also offers 20,000 square feet of outdoor function space for outdoor gatherings. Guest rooms are scheduled for refurbishing this year.
Operated by Benchmark Hospitality, the property's conference venues include the 10,440-square-foot Global Ballroom featuring 20-foot ceilings, as well as an 8,000-square-foot Grand Ballroom. Together the side-by-side ballrooms can accommodate up to 2,000 people.
Fifteen breakout rooms, ranging in size from 375 square feet to 1,728 square feet, were also modernized, as was the resort’s 175-seat amphitheater.
The 48,000-square-foot aLaya Spa, with 30 treatment rooms, a Zen garden, and fitness equipment, received soft updates.
Bonaventure Resort is located 17 miles from Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport and 33 miles from Miami International Airport.
