Portland's wine scene features underground tasting rooms and function space

Due to recent growth, Portland’s Bow & Arrow winery moved to a new space—underground. Bow & Arrow does visits by appointment, and owner Scott Frank plans to complete a new underground tasting room early this year, and to produce more than 2,000 cases of wine featuring little-know varietals.

Bow & Arrow was previously located at the SE (Southeast) Wine Collective, a 5,000-square-foot urban space in downtown Portland housing wine production equipment, a barrel room and a tasting bar, separated by large glass garage doors. The collective can accommodate receptions of up to 250 people or seated dinners for 100.

An in-house chef creates custom group menus and wine pairings.

The SE Wine Collective also hosts a number of recurring public events, such as a Supper Club with local chefs to yappy hour, which welcomes dogs and their owners.
