1. Your society is really keen on statistics. Were you good at math in school?
Absolutely not! I leave all the statistics to the professionals and they leave all the meeting planning to me. It’s a good relationship we have going.
2. What’s the most interesting meeting problem you’ve solved?
Playing the role of a bodyguard. I’m not a Kevin Costner and no we didn’t fall madly in love, but when no one else was able to escort one of our speakers through the back of the house, I stepped in. All 5’2” of me, that is.
3. Have you ever played baseball? If so, what position?
No, but I’ve always been a spectator of baseball. I have short legs and am not a very fast runner. Plus, my coordination of the bat and ball are entirely two different things. Trust me, no one wants to see me play baseball—no one!
4. As a Yankees fan, what do you think of the Red Sox?
I was born a Yankee fan. Half my family is Yankee fans and the others are Red Sox fans. I will say that it does make for quite an interesting family reunion, though. But to answer your question, I’m not a fan of the Boston Red Sox so I wouldn’t even watch the World Series this year. No, I’m not bitter.
