Marriott Opens Seoul's First LEED Gold Hotel

SEOUL

The new, 170-room, JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square Seoul is being billed as the country's first LEED Gold property, and is the second JW Marriott to open in the South Korea capital. 

Dongdaemun is a major shopping destination, and the hotel offers views of the East Gate, a Korean heritage site with 617 years of history.

Guest room options include 15 suites and 19 executive rooms with access to a private executive lounge with balcony. Dining outlets include the rooftop Griffin Bar and treats from Seoul Baking Company. 

The hotel offers more than 10,000 square feet of meeting space, including a 750-person ballroom and a high-definition media wall comprised of 98 individual screens.
