Bill Ellen appointed president and CEO of Midlands Authority for Conventions, Sports & Tourism (MACST).
The MACST in the Columbia region of South Carolina encompasses the Columbia Metropolitan CVB, the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center and the Columbia Sports Authority.
Ellen previously served as the organization's board chair and sits on the executive boards of both the South Carolina Restaurant and Lodging Association and the Columbia Area Hotel and Lodging Association.
