Colorado's Sebastian-Vail offers ice climbing for groups

Grab your crampons and puffy coat, because Colorado’s The Sebastian–Vail is making team building cool, literally.

Groups visiting the luxury hotel can select ice climbing from a menu of team-building experiences.

The Sebastian–Vail partners with local Apex Mountain School to offer the beginners climbing course. There is a guide for every five participants, and the excursion lasts about seven hours, including a safety orientation and introductory climbing on low-angle ice, where attendees can develop basic skills before moving up to steeper ice.

The Sebastian–Vail offers more than 8,500 square feet of meeting and reception space, including two ballrooms and a boardroom.
