The Ballantyne Hotel & Lodge in Charlotte, N.C., has expanded its list of team-building offerings for groups. Beyond the standard tennis, spa and golf programming, meeting groups at the Ballantyne can take a sushi-making class, play croquet, cornhole and bocce during an afternoon reception, or study scotch in a cocktail sampling course.
Hungry groups can compete in a chilli-cook off or watch a cupcake decorating demonstration by the hotel’s executive pastry chef.
The hotel also partners with the United Way to offer CSR programs.
In addition to more than 30,000 square feet of meeting space, the Starwood luxury property features 214 guest rooms, a 35-room lodge space for executive retreats, and a 3,670-square-foot private cottage.
