Original event venues in Massachusetts' Pioneer Valley

Dotted with big cities, college towns and quaint villages, and bordered by the Berkshires to the west and central Massachusetts to the east, Pioneer Valley offers an array of eclectic venues for groups.

Get your game on: The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield stands out of because from the nearby structures of its large, glimmering basketball-shaped building. A 200-seat theater, boardroom, exhibits and unique Center Court space with a domed ceiling add up to more than 80,000 square feet of function space.

Smooth as silk: In Holyoke, the Wistariahurst Museum is located in the home of the city’s famous former residents, the Skinner Family, who produced silks and satins. Built in 1874, the estate and gardens were donated to the city in 1959 by the family, to be used for cultural and educational purposes. The grounds are available to host private events and guided tours take visitors through the 26-room mansion.

A walk in the park: Look Park in Northampton spans more than 150 acres and has been open to the public since 1930. The Garden House banquet facility can be used for social events and corporate gatherings of up to 175 guests. Planners can purchase attendee wristbands for attractions like miniature golf, bumper boats and the zoo.
