PHILADELPHIA
Philadelphia's Franklin Institute, a science museum dating back to 1824, debuted the new Nicholas and Athena Karabots Pavilion, which includes 3,000 square feet of conference space on the first floor.
Facilities include several flexible meeting rooms, a dining room, business center, rain garden and rooftop deck, plus unique outdoor art installations including a "shimmer wall" comprised of 10,000 iodized aluminum panels that wave in the breeze.
The Franklin Institute offers other popular venues for private events and corporate receptions, including its atrium and planetarium.
